Sheldon Thompson
Sheldon L. (Shel) Thompson is a registered professional engineer and the former Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of Sunoco, Inc. Mr. Thompson was a principal officer of the company and a key member of the executive team before retiring after 38 years of service on June 1, 2000.
Mr. Thompson has provided his administrative and strategic expertise to many cultural and philanthropic organizations throughout the years, including Intercultural Journeys, The Philadelphia Orchestra, the Philadelphia Theatre Company and the Academy of Natural Sciences.
Mr. Thompson holds 13 patents and has authored several papers.
