A collaboration never before seen in Philadelphia will take place on Thursday, May 3 at 7:30 pm in Esperanza’s fabulous new theater at 191 W. Hunting Park Ave. As part of the Crossing Cultures and Bridges Across Broad Street programs that began in 2011, Intercultural Journeys will join its partners from Dancing Classrooms Philadelphia, Taller Puertorriqueño, AMLA - Artistas y Músicos Latino Americanos, and Esperanza Academy Charter School in a performance that brings together youth from various communities of Northeast Philadelphia.

The performance will include an entertaining mix of music ranging from Mozart to Rafael Hernández. Local favorites Carmen Alvarado will join Daniel de Jesus in a powerful duet. Students from Esperanza Academy Charter High School, Prince Hall Elementary School, and Antonia Pantoja Charter School will join the Dalí String Quartet and Philadelphia Orchestra cellist, Udi Bar-David, on stage in a never before seen artistic extravaganza.
