An Arab Jewish virtuoso ensemble: Udi Bar David (Intercultural Journeys Artistic Director and a member of the Philadelphia Orchestra), Hanna Khoury (Arab-Jewish violinist), Margo Levertt (Klezmer clarinetist), Kareem Roustom (Syrian-born oud player), Rolando Morales Matos (drummer) .
This concert will be the culminating event for many activities that will take place in the community including Peace Walk Tucson and a “mini-conference” this same day featuring a screening of the award winning Israeli-Palestinian documentary “Encounter Point” to be followed by discussion panels and workshops.
Her Royal Highness Princess Alia of Jordan has been invited to attend this event.
