Miriam Fisher Schaefer brings more than 40 years of finance and management experience to Intercultural Journeys. Miriam recently retired as CFO for Friends Central School, but continues to serve as Treasurer of Historic Fairhill Burial Ground. She has held finance positions with a number of non-profit and corporate organizations, including the Chemical Heritage Foundation (now the Science History Institute), American Friends Service Committee, American Express, Avon, and The Franklin Mint.  Miriam received a BA in political science at Bryn Mawr College and received her M.B.A. from Columbia University.
